Schumann: For Younger People (Part 1 of Album for the Young)

Description

Schumann composed his Album for the Young in 1848 in less than a month. He wrote at the time: I don't remember ever having been in such good musical form. The pieces simply poured out one after another. When the work was first published, it was divided into two parts: 'für Kleinere' (for younger people) and 'für Erwachsenere' (for older people).
