Description

A work written in Ferran (Tarragona), between July and August 2008, and premiered months later by the excellent pianist Diego Fernández Magdaleno, on the occasion of the homage to Ramón Barce in his 80th birthday. As time has gone by, the expression of music has occupied a more essential role in my works. Also, I have always tried to keep a constant balance between the dominions of heartand brain.

In Amor i humor, I have intended to show my mood; one due to the inclinations and dispositions of spirit offered by the marvelous meetings I for years had with Ramón Barce and his wife, Elena Martín. This work is dedicated to them.
