Mike Cornick has already published several volumes of pieces for multiple players at one piano. Now, here is a stepping stone to those great books – "6 Easy Pieces for 3 Right Hands". The emphasis here is on the word "easy". These pieces could be tackled by students in their first year of tuition. Five of them will be familiar: Brahms' "Cradle Song", "London Bridge", "Short'nin' Bread", "Three Blind Mice" and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". They are complemented by a short piece by Mike himself, "Threepenny Blues".
Just like any other instrumentalists, pianists should learn at an early stage to play in ensemble and this volume contains ideal material to introduce that concept, at the same time as providing great fun and entertainment.
