Gerard Bunk worked in Dortmund and was highly esteemed as a composer and organist by such illustrious contemporaries as Sigfrid Karg-Elert, Max Reger and Albert Schweitzer. His works in the late-romantic vein fell into oblivion in the 1930s with the rise of the Baroque-oriented organ movement. This edition, with commentaries by Jan Böcker, invites us to discover three of Bunk's masterpieces.
