Nora Gomringer's poem Wilson Opera Monologue provided the template for the mixed form of language and sound. The expressivity and the strongly formulated rhythm of the monologue create a dynamic that is interrupted, questioned, taken over, contrasted and commented on by the double bass. Words and music are led to an ever-increasing cyclone of expression, consisting of rhythm, loops, noises and tonally flowing processes. The double bass player is not only in demand as a musician, but also as a-sharp and impulsive text interpreter. Linguistic style, sound and performance merge into a poetic interdisciplinary form, in which coolness and impulsive impetus create inner tension. The text and sound material returns again and again in variations according to the principle of micro-repetition and unfolds a flowing form between chamber music and performance consisting of three elements: a double bass player, a monologue and music. -Minas Borboudakis, February 2023.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Edition Peters","offers":[{"title":"Printed Edition","offer_id":42447761571919,"sku":"EP14611","price":23.75,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"Digital Download","offer_id":45371402682447,"sku":"PET.54853","price":23.75,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0900\/1828\/files\/d35f0a12048dc1517f736d1dde57b34a.jpg?v=1749647798","url":"https:\/\/www.ficksmusic.com\/zh\/products\/borboudakis-things-happening-peters","provider":"Ficks Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
