A mosaic is a picture or pattern created by carefully arranging together small, individual pieces, often hard materials, such as stone, tile, or glass. in that same way, I pulled some of my favorite sounds and overlayed them into a sonic tapestry, imagined through a strange dream world, where the funky, groovy bass lines of Jaco Pastorius, the jagged, the angular big band writing of Carla Bley, and the playful, classic cartoon music from my childhood all come together into a kaleidoscopic whole.
