It is generally regarded as his most mature, perhaps even his most beautiful contribution to this genre. On 5 January 1791, Mozart noted its completion in his personal catalogue of works although whether and when he ever performed it himself is disputed. Mozart also used the theme of the Rondo in his song \"Komm lieber Mai and mache\", surely one of his most famous melodies.\nThis Henle Urtext edition, available both as a study score and a piano reduction, was prepared by Mozart specialist Wolf-Dieter Seiffert and world-famous pianist Piotr Anderszewski (fingerings, lead-ins and embellishments), ensuring the highest standards.
