ABRSM Principal Cello (Grades 6-8)

Description

Drawing inspiration from the salons of 19th-century Europe, Principal Cello is a must-buy for cello teachers and players! It's fantastic for discovering new repertoire because it includes many pieces that are not available in modern editions.

Works by Janáček and Grieg sit alongside a hidden gem from William Henry Squire, as well as cello arrangements of popular recital pieces like Borowski's Adoration.

The difficulty level ranges from Grade 6 to 8, and some pieces will be set on the B and C lists of the new Cello Syllabus, so it's really useful for exams, as well as general performances.
