The story was adapted by Richard B. McPhee from an idea by George S. Kauffman. The work was first presented as a dance pantomime by the Mummers Club of Oberlin College in April 1954 (four performances), with choreography by Marilyn Easton Adams and musical direction (piano and string quartet instrumental version) by David Daniels. The pas de deux (from Scene II) was re-choreographed by Lucas Hoving in 1955 and taken on a concert tour of the U.S. by his dance company the same year, under the title, \"Time of Innocence.\" The score was revised and re-orchestrated by the composer in 1974-75. This is the first publication of the score.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"American Composers Alliance (ACA)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45024311410767,"sku":"ACA-ADHL-155","price":124.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0900\/1828\/files\/a6a0b1e82610daa4164bb85a708f524a.webp?v=1780257349","url":"https:\/\/www.ficksmusic.com\/fr\/products\/hl-adams-a-kiss-in-xanadu-aca","provider":"Ficks Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
