This work was undertaken on the initiative of the prominent Czech organist Jirí Reinberger. It was the composer's first work for solo organ and the piece soon became a staple of international organ repertoire. The Fantasy in G Minor (No. 2) was composed the following year on commission for the 1st International Organ Competition of the Prague Spring International Festival 1958.

Although both fantasies were given the same opus number, this is the first ever edition to include both of these works in one volume.

Works:

Fantasy in D Minor, Op. 32, No. 1

Fantasy in G Minor, Op. 32, No. 2

Composer: Miloslav Kabeláč (1908-1979)

Format: Full Score

Instrumentation: Orchestra

Work: Mystery of Time (Passacaglia), Op. 31

Binding: Spiral Bound

Size: 9.4 x 12.6 inches

Pages: None

Composer: Miloslav Kabeláč (1908-1979)

Instrumentation: Organ

Work: 4 Preludes, Op. 48

Binding:

ISMN: 9790260108929

Size: 10.0 x 12.2 inches

Pages: 43

Description

The four small-scale preludes of Miloslav Kabelác's, Op. 48 were commissioned in 1966 by the second "Prague Spring International Music Competition" in the category organ.
