D1988-4
This is a fun piece for two cellos, playing the same part, but one bar apart. There are two separate printed parts, plus a score with both parts. They are by Domenico Gabrielli, an Italian composer and cello virtuoso, who was born in Bologna in1651. He became widely known as a cello virtuoso and composer of vocal music. He wrote 12 operas in the 1680s, but he contracted an incurable disease and died in Bologna in July 1690.
